Ceremonial TourAPRIL 3 THROUGH 16, 2007 The Ceremonial Tour is a once a year opportunity to watch the native Tarahumara as they celebrate the Easter Season Spring Equinox in a weeklong ceremony, which goes both day and night. The customs and dancing are very primitive and can bring modern day civilization to its knees in awe and wonder as these primitive people show the maximum respect to their beliefs. The customs seen are primitive with the use of cloth draping and body paint, yet you can feel the emotion as they continue their celebration. Only a limited few have the
opportunity to join in the celebration. Jan Milburn, perhaps the only
“white man” to participate in the joyful celebrations and sacred
ceremonies will interpret and narrate for your understanding. Once the celebration is over we will head to the bottom of the canyon and spend a few days in Batopilas To book your vacation please click on Registration. Please read the Conditions and Terms before booking your reservation. This tour is usually a 14-day tour.
